Hi!

Hi. My home is in Oregon. I’ve been crocheting since I was 10, or so, when my grandmother taught me. It’s been an on again/off again hobby. Now however, I have found I really enjoy it. I would also like some crochet buddies to talk to.

Hi Stephanie…. I am a Retired Registered Nurse. I love animals of all kinds and shapes. I, however love Dogs and Horses. I currently have two Chocolate Cocker Spaniels (Seniors 14 years old), 2 Mini Dachshunds 2 years & 1 year old and a Himalayan Seal Point Cat.

I crocheted many years ago and then quit for many years. I knew how to single and double crochet and that was it. Then I broke my back in several places and that was pretty much the end of my career as a Registered Nurse 👩‍⚕️ and I was devastated.

Depression came barreling in and crocheting basically saved me. I found Mikey and Tasha 4 years ago and I haven’t looked back.

Welcome

Hi Stephanie,

My name is Candee. It isn't short for Candace lol it's just Candee 😊 I have 2 daughters, 4 grandchildren at the moment but my 5th one is due next month. That will be 3 granddaughters and 2 grandsons. I crochet a lot for them. I began crocheting when I was 8, so I've been at it for 49 years this year. I also learned from my grandmother. When she passed at a young age, my mom took over teaching me. My husband and I have known each other since we were 5 1/2, but circumstances wouldn't allow us to marry until we were 42. We get to celebrate 15 years together this year. We are beyond blessed. Anyway, I look forward to being your crochet buddy. You can feel free to email me or private message me on messenger.

Hi Candee! Congrats on the 5th grand, wow! that's so much fun. You and your husband have known each other that long? That's so amazing. Definitely sounds like you are blessed. <3

Hi Stephanie! Same here, my grandmother taught me when I was 8 or so. Dropped it until my 20's then picked it up again, then again in my 40's when I started Stardust Crochet. It's such a wonderful hobby and something I love so much because it is a never ending learning process. Thanks for sharing and I'm here for the buddies too. :) So glad you are here. We have the private chat too on FB but it seems we use this more and also the monthly meet ups! We need more people to join the meet ups. We just chat about whatever.
